Prince Charming looking for Cinderella...

I'm hemorrhaging cash at a ridiculous pace and need work ASAP. Just until the restaurant opens, but I'm out of funds in my bank, at my limit on my credit card, and a couple of projected/anticipated positions have yet to manifest.

So, there's a shoe store up the street that's hiring. And I think to myself "Why Not?", only, it's a ladies shoe store, and so I float the idea of getting myself done up in a velvet cape and crown and treating all the girls like Cinderella, and, thinking way back, I did once as a kid work at Footlocker in the mall and again as a cobbler at "Heels", so, it's not like I haven't done this before...

Books

In the end, out of 8 boxes of books (another 24 to go) - 6 are rejected. Of the 2 they took, comprising 4 heaps of thin, more contemporary books, perhaps 70 books all told, $35.00 paid.

Faulkner's letter to the postmaster general, upon his leaving the post office.
