September Long - 2022
Which was the longest weekend ever. All weekend long. No idea what to expect for business, hopes for it to be quieter were thwarted, they came and they came and they came, without respite - and you're forever cleaning other peoples tables, washing others dishes, and rolling cutlery late into the night.
And then - finally, late on Sunday night - we've taken to closing Monday/Tuesday - we're done.
Bloody hell, every summer manages to be longer than the last.
But, there's a saving grace, the "Year End" party is running still, until Monday, and so I round up a couple of survivors and we head off to the rave.
And a merry time is had by all, until the next morning when I'm off on other adventures...

Maybe if I were a brooding 20 year old college student with black lipstick. But I'm not and so this rather sadly disappointed. All novels have their time and place - and this one missed it.

This was an enjoyable documentary about a band I'd never heard of, but, following the documentary, I'm more than a little curious to learn more.

Nope - Jordan Peele
About a UFO. And I don't want to give any spoilers, but the best Chimpanzee scene since "Being John Malkovitch", I am a bit curious as to the "Meta" - the other, hidden meanings in the film, superficially it was entertaining, not great, but I suspect as with other Jordan Peele films there was a lot going on there that I didn't get...
Anyways, good, and while I'm not certain my analysis is correct I'll conjecture he's depicting our rather unhealthy relationship with the media...
