Museum of Failure

Unfortunately their specialty seems to be commercial innovation, otherwise I'd be having a show. A few shows...

But a brilliantly conceived museum highlighting the perils of invention, remarkable because everywhere we're only surrounded by success. We don't see the television shows that don't make it to air, we don't see the artists who don't have shows, and we don't generally consume those products that fail when they get to market. Remember New Coke, anyone? But failure is the certain road to greatness, if you keep on it long enough. Maybe this will inspire you:

Read the article. How did this come to pass? The logical extension of corporate culture that sees it not only rewriting laws but extending themselves into jurisdictions - and forcing the public to acquiesce to their terms - in areas that clearly should not be in anyways the corporate domain.

Wherein TurboTax lobbies the government with millions of dollars to ensure that you (as an American) still have to pay someone to file your taxes.

I'd never thought about it, but doesn't it seem odd that in this age of technology anyone should have to file taxes? I'm guessing there's a similar game afoot in Canada.
